App is worse than the insurance company itself, app is buggy and glitches to say the least. Trying to get multiple drivers on the same account is nearly impossible. Can't wait for policy to end so I can switch back to a more competent insurance company.
Says you can name your trips, but everything I've tried doesn't work, so NOT!
Proof I am a defensive driver
It doesn't record trips in a timely manner, and right now, when I'm sitting on my back porch, it's recording a trip. My score mysteriously dropped overnight, from 93 to 88, with no intervening trips and no explanation. I have a bunch of questions and concerns about the app, which I've submitted to my insurance broker. I'll update this review once I have the answers. UPDATE: I've spoken with my broker, and the carrier apparently does NOT use your rating to adjust your premiums. So that's good.
Virtually impossible to get a rating over 90 unless you live next to an interstate and drive 10 miles each way at 2 pm. OnStar reported a much higher rating to carriers.
Upgrading review from 1 star to 4 star. Used app for 50 days and I feel it is remarkably accurate. You have to pretty much drive like an old person, but I am now getting better gas mileage and I like how the app has helped to make me more aware of my driving.
Terrible experience with this app. Installed July 20, partially worked for a few days. Every trip for over a month says it's either scoring now or waiting for wifi, but no score is calculated. I have spoken with my insurance company as directed in the help section of the app numerous times with no resolution, though I am assured the problems have been referred to the relevant tech support person. This app is a waste of my phone's battery.
It records all my trips but refuses to score them. I did manage to get 2 scored so maybe ill keep my discount, but who knows. No one responds to the contact us emails either. Something like 12 recorded trips and 2 are scored and the rest are in perpetual scoring limbo with no results. Pathetic!
Stupid app won't link to my account and will only give me trial version. Pissing me off if I owe you more money cause your app doesn't work
My insurance company requires me to use this app in order to receive a discount on my insurance. The app is installed on my phone, I have given it all the permissions it needs, and it still isn't logging my trips. Because of this, my insurance company won't give me a discount. We have 3 drivers in our family, and it isn't reliably logging any of our trips. This app is denying me a discount!
